Megan Day, President

Class of 2019,  Journalism

Hi y’all! I am completely honored and humbled to have the opportunity to lead a chapter of strong, incomparable women throughout their college careers while in Sigma Kappa. I am a Public Relations student minoring in Integrated Marketing Communications hoping to move to New York City after graduation. It is because of the women before me who helped show me the light within myself and my true capabilities that I am here today. My world revolves around the people I love, coffee, spin, animals and the family I have created for myself.

 Aislinn Lowth, Executive VP

Class of 2019,  Political Science

I am a third year Political Science major from Novato, California. I love being on the Executive Council so I can give back to Sigma Kappa as it has given me so many amazing memories. It is the best support system I could have in college and has truly made San Luis Obispo my home. I love everything SLO has to offer from the coffee and food to the hikes and beaches. I don’t ever want to leave!

Madison Gress, VP of Membership

Class of 2019,  Business

I am a third year Business, Information Systems student and Spanish minor from Saratoga, California. I just finished my Fall quarter studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain and am so happy to be home in San Luis Obispo with all my sisters! Sigma Kappa has not only given me an incredible support system and my two very best friends: one of them being my little, and the other my roommate since freshman year and our incredible president, Megan. I can't wait for us to get to experience recruitment next fall together, and help grow the future of the organization that's given me so much over the past few years. I can't believe I only have a year left with my all girls but I know these memories will last a lifetime and I'm excited to see what the 2018 Executive Council will be able to accomplish!

Samantha Boncich, VP of New Member Education

Class of 2019,  Agricultural Business

I'm a third year Agricultural Business student who loves memes and exploring new restaurants in SLO. In my free time I love trying new pilates classes and perfecting my Spotify playlist. My favorite Sigma Kappa memory was when my cousin Ani became initiated – it’s an awesome feeling to see your legacy continue on. I am so grateful to have such an active role in the future of Sigma Kappa as New Member Educator.

Gënavie Williams, Social Chairman

Class of 2020,  Liberal Studies

Hi! I'm Gënavie Williams, a second year Liberal Studies major from Corona, California. I love working with kids and I'm very excited to get my teaching credential after college! I love being outside, thrift shopping, and hanging at the beach. To me, serving on the Executive Council is a huge privilege, and it provides me the opportunity to give back to a chapter that has given so much to me. Sigma Kappa has given me my best friends, a support system, and a home away from home. These girls are the most empowering, genuine, and driven group of individuals, and I'm incredibly proud to be apart of them.

Anna Given, Sisterhood Chairman

Class of 2020,  Sociology

I am a second year Sociology major with a concentration in Criminal Justice, pursuing a minor in Law and Society. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, I love getting to explore the beauty of the Central Coast in San Luis Obispo. In my free time you can find me hiking, drinking a good old cup of joe, and thrift shopping around Seattle and SLO. I am so stoked to have gotten to join such a supportive and spunky group of women that is the Sigma Kappa Executive Council.

Meghan Butler, VP of Philanthropic Services

Class of 2020,  Business Administration

I am a second year Business Administration major from Dublin, California. I am so stoked to serve as Sigma Kappa’s VP of Philanthropic Services. Being apart of this house has given me a support system full of strong, passionate, and inspiring women. I absolutely love Cal Poly and the people, hikes, beaches, and food San Luis Obispo has to offer! I can’t imagine my time here at Cal Poly without the amazing women in this chapter and the opportunities Sigma Kappa has given me.

Sabrina Keester, VP of Communications

Class of 2019,  Liberal Arts and Engineering Studies

I am a third year Liberal Arts and Engineering Studies major with concentrations in Industrial Engineering and Technical Communications from Granite Bay, California. Sigma Kappa has given me the opportunity to grow as a leader, as a friend, and as a person. It has given me a place to call home, and some of the very best friends I could have ever wished for. I don't know exactly what I want to do after college, but I know that the skills, support, and confidence this sorority has given me will follow me wherever I go. It is an honor to work alongside some of the strongest and most capable women I have ever met on this year's Executive Council!

Annabelle Clegg, VP of Programming

Class of 2019,  Child Development

I am a third year Child Development major and Psychology minor. I am from Redondo Beach, California and I love the ocean, sushi, my family and friends and my dog Sadie. I am so proud to represent Sigma Kappa as this year's VP of Programming. This sorority has been such an integral part of my college experience, and I have no idea what Cal Poly would have been like without Sigma Kappa. One of the more special moments of this entire experience was when my younger sister was initiated into Sigma Kappa's newest member class! The women I have met through this organization are inspiring and beautiful humans. I love all of my SK ladies and I am so proud to be apart of this amazing Executive Council.

Madalyn Souza, VP of Alumnae Relations

Class of 2020,  Agricultural Communications

My name is Madalyn Souza and I am a second year Agricultural Communications major from Visalia, California. I am so honored to serve on Sigma Kappa’s Executive Board and Vice President of Alumnae Relations. What I love most about Sigma Kappa is that such a large group of women are connected through our values and philanthropies. I have met some of my best friends though this organization and I am thankful for how it has impacted my time at Cal Poly.

Alex Ehlers, VP of Finance

Class of 2019,  Business Administration

I am a third year Business Administration student concentrating in Accounting. Being from Seattle originally, coming to Cal Poly was accompanied with a strong desire to find a home away from home and Sigma Kappa has given me exactly that. I have found friendships that will last far longer than my four years at Cal Poly and made memories that will last a lifetime. It is an honor to represent our chapter as Vice President of Finance alongside an amazing executive board full of extremely talented women. I am beyond excited for the future of this chapter and I believe the current members are paving an amazing path for members to come.

Hey there! My name's Bella, and I'm a second year Biochemistry major from San Jose, California. I've always maintained academics as my highest priority among all my activities, even as a member of Sigma Kappa. I'm so proud to serve as the VP of Scholarship because I  love motivating and empowering the intelligent women around me to push themselves to achieve the highest grades possible. When I'm not in the library, I love thrift shopping, drinking cold brew, and petting animals! I'm so grateful to have met my best friends and roommates through Sigma Kappa.

Lauren Scott, Ritual Chairman

Class of 2019,  Food Science

Hi! I am a third year majoring in Food Science from Overland Park, Kansas. I love hanging out with friends and doing anything that has to do with the beach, which is why I moved to California. I knew coming in as a transfer student wouldn't be easy but I can't even express the overwhelming amount of love and support I got from every single Sigma Kappa the minute I stepped into the house for the first time! I am so excited to serve as Ritual Chairman for this wonderful chapter and I can't wait to see how much I grow from watching all these amazing women by my side. I'm so thankful Sigma Kappa is my home away from home!

Working alongside the dedicated women of the 2018 Executive Council has given me a much deeper appreciation for being in a sorority, and a greater love for my incredible, empowering sisters. I can't thank Sigma Kappa enough for helping me find my best friends, roommates, and home away from home!

Ellis Hagadorn, Panhellenic Delegate

Class of 2020,  Kinesiology

I am a second year Kinesiology major from Newport Beach, California. I came to Cal Poly to experience the Central Coast and to be around amazing people. Sigma Kappa has given me a home here at school and friends that I will have for the rest of my life. I have loved every second of Sigma Kappa and am grateful for all the lessons and experiences this house has given me.
